Review: Ouidad Clear & Gentle Essential Daily Shampoo

Ouidad Clear and Gentler Essential Daily Shampoo
8.5oz/$13.00

Product Description:

Ouidad Clear & Gentle Shampoo is a clarifying cleanser that removes styling product build-up plus ordinary environmental residue. Unlike many deep-cleansing shampoos, this formula is gentle enough for delicate curly hair that is color treated.

Clear & Gentle's low-foaming formula gently cleanses curls while giving your hair the nourishment it needs. Ouidad's original, all-purpose shampoo is blended with essential Wheat Protein to restore hair's natural body and shine. Vitamin E and Jojoba Seed Oil help assure your hair looks and feels its healthiest.

My Experience:
This product was not what I thought it would be. Maybe that is because I stay away from sulfates and I rarely use Shampoo. I was not happy after rinsing this shampoo out of my hair. My hair was left stripped, dry and I had to use LOADS of conditioner to add even the SLIGHTEST bit of moisture back to my curls. I was very disappointed with the end result. However, my hair was not filthy dirty nor did it really need a good washing with a clarifying shampoo so maybe I will give it ONE more try once I absolutely need too.
Overall:
Overall I would not buy this product again. Mainly because of the ingredients and they fact that it is a sulfate shampoo. I don't recommend this to my type 4 curlies or my sistahs with coarse/thick hair. Now of you want a good clarifying shampoo this may work for you, it just wasn't a go for me. I decided to use it simply because it came in a Ouidad set that I purchased from HSN. Their line for Kinky Curly haired girls looks way more appealing to me. Unfortunately , those products were not offered online as a set.

Have any of you tried this product?
If so, what are YOUR thoughts?
