Collection Sneak Peek & Random Updates

I've been really frustrated lately because my skin is acting up and this has NEVER happened to me! I'm breaking out around my chin and jaw and it's driving me nuts because I never break out like this! I think it was my MAC Hyper Real Foundation. =[ It did this to me before but I guess my skin doesn't like it anymore! Once I started using my Everyday Minerals sample or my Studio Fix Powder, it started clearing up though so hopefully it'll be all gone by the time I get back to HI.

Speaking of foundation, MAC released it's new Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation. It comes in a compact like their Studio Tech, but the texture is a LOT creamier. It's so smooth! It's a cross between gel/cream/liquid. I don't know how to explain it just touch it the next time you visit your counter and you'll know what I'm talking about!

I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I don't love it right off the bat and I think the SPF 15 gives me a little white cast when I take pictures =[ but in person it looks OK. I don't think I'll be able to test it out until my breakouts stop acting up but we'll see. I always noticed the colors are a little off for MAC mineralize things has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? I'm normally a cross between NC42 and NC44 and I kinda match more with NC44 but OMG NC44 was WAYY too dark for me but now I feel like NC42 is to light. It feels like I'm wearing foundation when I first put it on and if you I put too much I feel like there's a whole other layer on top of my face so I kinda don't like that. I like that it doesn't have shimmer or glitter in it like the Satinfinish and that it comes in a compact but I might end up returning it. We'll see! It's $32 so it's more expensive than most of their foundations but idk if it's really worth it. I'll try to do a review on it.

Also copped the new MAC 130 brush! AHH I missed out on the 131 when it came out and I fell in looove with this once I saw it! It's like a flat top 109/187 brush which I love using for my foundation so you know I love it! It's a little expensive [$38] but I've already been using it everyday. It's really short and dense so I think it's perfect for liquid foundations. Tried it with my Studio Fix fluid and it's love!!

Wore this outfit to work last week and I thought it was so cute! =] Whole outfit from F21 cost me $35 total!!! Didn't buy everything at once though.

Rocked the HK necklace ;] I think I'm wearing the new foundation here but I can't remember. It's slightly too light for me =[ I tried putting MSF natural and bronzer close to my skin color but eh it's not a perfect match and idk if I wanna do all that work everytime.

Don't think I forgot about my collection post! It's coming! But haven't had time to take a million pictures and label everything but here's a sneak peek!

Gotta love OCD. =P

Forever 21 Haul

Most of you know I work at F21 so I see when everything goes on sale, when new stuff comes out, etc. It's kind of fun working retail just for those simple facts but let me tell you customer service can be a drag sometimes! F21 is a great place to shop if you're on a budget, but be warned you get what you pay for! The clothes are cheap and that's means it's NOT gonna last you a long time unless you take super good care of it but they're so cheap who has time/money to do that?! Anyway a bunch of stuff went on sale a couple weeks ago so here's my haul from there!

First up - sale items!

3/4 sleeve leopard print coat $12.99
I like it cause it's lightweight! Here's a pic of me wearing it

[sorry about my messy closet! LOL]

military inspired cardigan $8.99
I loooved this shirt but you know how I said it's cheap?! I wore it once, washed it and one of the buttons came off! I need to sew it back on but I'm too lazy. I'm wearing it in my profile pictures but you can't really see it.

gold flats $8.99
I really wanted the silver ones but they were sold out. You can still order this online here.

ACTIVEWEAR

F21 has a new active wear line which I love! I used to love going into Bebe Sport [now called PH8 or something] because the material felt soo nice but it's way out of my price range. Thank goodness F21 came up with a dupe thats a fraction of the price! I wanted the cropped yoga pants but they were sold out =[ All I bought were these

stretch tank $5.80
I like it because it's a nylon/spandex blend and when you sweat it won't look/feel all gross! See it here

booty shorts $3.80
ok I wouldn't really work out in these because I have major thunder thighs [LOL] but I like to wear these when I go out and my skirt is super short [don't want them creepers getting a peep of your goodies!] plus these were only $3.80!

sports bra $6.80
I think it was 6.80? I can't remember but again I bought it because of the material! I really should buy sports bras from walmart but I really liked the way it felt!

OTHER

denim shorts $15.80
It's still pretty cold here [for me anyway!] so I haven't been able to wear these yet but I can't wait til Spring/Summer comes! It's so hard to find shorts that fit right [for me] so I had to get these!

anchor necklace $5.80
I thought this was cute! lol The whole 'anchor/sailor girl' thing seems to be in right now and I got sucked in.

And that's it for my haul! IDK if you guys like this post but let me know if you do and I'll definitely do more in the future! =] AND if you know anywhere that's having good sales let me know too! lol

charlie le mindu

i mean he's really it. charlie le mindu takes the abstract idea and transforms hair and your idea of what it should be. sure, there's glue and wire involved... but doesn't every great hairdo have a hidden secret? i'm not telling.
the bow is falling? rope.
need to break up the bangs? pheasant.
giant hairmouth wasn't enough, hairglasses x3... now i can see!!!
coverup
charlie le mindu is taking hair to another place. and we like it.

I MEAN REALLY! He rigs then he rigs some more...
