Miss Moss graced the Louis Vuitton Autumn/Winter catwalk earlier today in order to close the show. After not walking the catwalk for three years, she resumed her role in a truly rebellious fashion: strutting her stuff whilst smoking. Only she would be able to pull off the tiny shorts and lace up boots she wore whilst inhaling her Marlboro's fumes.
The audience were ushered into a dimly lit room by models wearing French maid outfits balancing trays of vodka shots for the viewers' delectation. The show closed with Miss Moss receiving whoops and cheers from the front row who immediately got on their blackberries to tweet about Kate's reappearance.
The freedom showed by Kate isn't intended to be a back-lash against "No Smoking Day" but more an indication of female power: we have the right to choose whether we want to buy a £2000 Louis Vuitton handbag as much as we have the choice to light up whenever we want. In a true Moss style, Vuitton appeared to be advocating the rebel within us all!
