A couple of weeks ago I gave into my PJ'ism and purchased some KBB hair products.
I got the 2 most talked about (and raved) about ones; the Hair Milk (which is now called "Sweet Ambrosia" and the "Hair Nectar".
I wish I would have known that these products are almost IDENTICAL in ingredients.
The Hair Nectar is a LITTLE lighter, so I use that on my daughters hair.
I got the Lavender Vanilla Scent, which is nice.
Nothing to RAVE about though.
The scent does linger in the hair (or at least it does in me and baby's hair)
So, beware of that if you are interested in trying it or if you have a sensitive nose.
Anyways, fellow naturals have been going wild over this stuff.
I must say I like it as well.
It makes my hair super soft and its a great defining product when doing twist-outs
The ingredients are nice too; even though both products are practically the same.
I will highlight the ingredients below that are different.
"Hair Milk" ingredients:
Purified Water, Jojoba and Avocado Oils, Vegetable Wax, Panthenol, Arnica, Calendula, Echinacea, Nettle & Horsetail Extracts, Vegetable Glycerin, Wheat Germ Oil, Essential and/or Fragrance Oil, Natural Enzymes & Vitamin E
"Hair Nectar" ingredients:
Purified Water, Grapeseed & Jojoba Oils, Vegetable Glycerin, Vegetable Wax, Panthenol, Yucca, Horsetail, Nettle, & Melissa Extracts, Essential and/or Fragrance Oil, Natural Enzymes & Vitamin E
As you can see, the ingredients are very similar but not quite identical.
The products are almost just alike in consistency and color though.
The Hair Nectar I love for my daughters hair.
I works wonders, especially during this dry summer we are having in the DMV.
I use the "Hair Nectar" on my wet/damp hair before twisting at night
and when I wake up my hair feels like cotton.
So, both products definitely get the job done.
I do not know if I will be re-purchasing both of the products again
but
I will probably stick with the hair milk by itself.
It is not a necessity to me, to have both.
Have you tried KBB's line?
If so, how did it work four? you?
