The Beauties Music Video
A nice convoy of about 35 people went to Bowen Island in Vancouver about a month ago and spent 3 days filming a music video. Hours and hours of make up and hair later......

Today's Hair
Hey Ladies!
Happy Friday and PAY DAY (for some of us).
Today I am wearing my hair in a twist out.
I twisted my hair with JUST water.
Wanna know why?
It's a pretty funny story...
I was walking to the Metro station yesterday and it started POURING DOWN raining.
I was on my way to work from a doctors appointment and I TRIED my best to beat
that damn rain storm but I failed, miserably.
So, my whole afternoon was pretty much shot to hell after that.
On top of the fact that I was already having a CRAPPY day.
I can laugh about it now but yesterday I could've cried a river.
LOL.
When I got home I was dripping wet and my hair looking like a giant frizz ball.
I literally looked like I took a shower.
My freshly washed, clean smelling hair was SOAKING WET.
I was so through with my day at that point.
I changed my clothes, towel dried my hair and proceeded to twist it.
I didn't use any type of product on my hair
and
to my surprise my hair was AWESOME this A.M.
when I un-tiwsted.
I also noticed that my twist's were still full and fluffy
and NOT smashed to my headed like they usually are.
When I un-twisted I coated my hands with Grape Seed oil and Organix Frizz Free Gloss.
See Below for results:
(Looks kinda ashy but it feels great!)

Quick someone give me an award for being the most self-absorbed blogger!
Took a ton of camwhoring shots when I was doing my last essential advert so here they are!!
I made a lot of stupid faces.
Also, numbered for your easy criticism/reverence. See? I'm so considerate. Now instead of saying "In the fourth photo from bottom you look like a whore with ebola" you can just say "In photo 19 you look like a whore with ebola". Nice!
That's all folks!!
p/s: LOL Hilarious follower on twitter suggested I really put a photo of a whore with ebola as photo 19 so I went to google image "whore with ebola" and all I got were super gory photos wtf. So yeah, I guess ebola is not really that funny, ahem.
p/p/s: Also generated a photo of Paris Hilton.

FOTD: Neutrals with UD Naked Palette
So far I'm lovin' the new Urban Decay Naked Palette! It's sold out on the Sephora and Urban Decay website, but I believe it's coming out in Sephora stores this weekend? Rumor is supposedly July 29th, but it is permanent! But I can foresee it being sold out for maybe the next month? Anyway I feel like people don't do enough neutral looks just because they're "plain" and not that much color, but really who can wear color everyday to work/school? I know I can't! Another note, I've been trying out the Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara I got a couple months ago, and so far it's just OK. I like major drama from my mascara but looking at these pictures I'm like whoa! Anyway here's the look

Twist Out Tuesday
Hello All,
today is TUESDAY and I am wearing my hair in a twist out.
I co-washed last night in the shower.
My hair was feeling super dry.
I find myself self co-wash almost 4x a week now.
This DC heat is drying my hair out A LOT!
I twisted my damp hair with Miss. Jessie's baby buttercreme, my Curl Clouds product and some Oyin's Pomade.
My hair feels super soft today
and my twist out is very defined.
