So MAC released yet another collection last week Thursday called Art Supplies. I'm a sucker for anything MAC but these collections lately haven't been wowing me (Thank goodness for my wallet!) But I did pick up a couple things from this collection. I swatched the lipstain markers at the counter but they really weren't that interesting to me. I think the hardest thing about being a new 'MAC addict' is getting suckered into everything LE! When I first got into MAC I swear I wanted everything MAC! But I've learned to stop myself and think "Would I really use this?" Exactly what I was thinking when one of the MUA was trying to persuade me! They know me too because I'm always there and for some reason I feel a tinge of guilt not buying something they say they really like but c'mon I came from retail I know they just want you to buy it! Swatching the markers - I totally hated it. It reminded me of those Crayola washable markers you had as a kid! I tried it on my lips too and applying it was awful it felt like those washable markers and the color didn't go on even!

The Greasepaint Sticks caught my eye because they remind me of Shadesticks! But the colors are all practically the same blackened whatever. I was planning on getting greasegreen and zinc zone but ended up not liking grease green in person. I always buy a ton of green colors and I barely use them so I told myself I don't need it. The Pearlglide Liners are definitely my favorite from this collection! They really glide across your skin and they're soft too! But caution: these are not waterline safe! The glitter in them is a little chunky so it might get stuck in your eyes! But the colors are all gorgeous I would've got more if I weren't on a budget lol.

My Haul: Zinc Zone, Designer Purple, Black Line

Zinc Zone, Black Line, Designer Purple

I was only planning to get Black Line because I would definitely make use of that, but I fell in love with Designer Purple! It's a really royal purple which I was eyeing out but I was planning on getting Urban Decay's 24/7 Liner in Lust. I swatched Designer Purple and went to Ulta to compare and Designer Purple wins hands down! Plus it's $2.50 cheaper.

I did notice, however, that these pearlglide pencils are smaller than the Kohl Power pencils I got a while back and they were the same price!

Did you get anything from the Art Supplies Collection?
