I did this look using the NARS Cheyenne Duo from my Sephora Haul. It's such a perfect color combo especially since Thanksgiving is coming up, and I think it would be a great everyday look too. I've been using a lot of neutral looks lately, I kind of miss doing the super bright make up! I think I'll get around to doing a few since the Holidays are right around the corner! I used a lot of the stuff I got from my Sephora haul in this look and I have to say, I'm pretty happy with my haul. Maybe I'll do mini reviews on everything, what do you guys think? Speaking of hauls, I have a MAJOR haul post coming up because for some reason the evil shopaholic in me took over this month!

I just realized taking these pictures how horrible I am at picture taking! I look so horrible! I took a nicer picture in the daylight but the light just washed out my eyeshadow! I've never got the hang of it, even though I really should. Anyone got any tips?? :)

FOTD: Neutrals with UD Naked Palette

So far I'm lovin' the new Urban Decay Naked Palette! It's sold out on the Sephora and Urban Decay website, but I believe it's coming out in Sephora stores this weekend? Rumor is supposedly July 29th, but it is permanent! But I can foresee it being sold out for maybe the next month? Anyway I feel like people don't do enough neutral looks just because they're "plain" and not that much color, but really who can wear color everyday to work/school? I know I can't! Another note, I've been trying out the Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara I got a couple months ago, and so far it's just OK. I like major drama from my mascara but looking at these pictures I'm like whoa! Anyway here's the look

FOTD: MAC Expensive Pink

Coming up with names for FOTDs is HARD! lol So I figure I'll just start putting one of the color names on there because I know when I get a new eyeshadow I'm always lookin for looks to do with it. I haven't used MAC's expensive pink in a while but I forgot how much I love this color! It's so pretty for summer. I did this look a while ago and I think the brown eyeshadows I listed are the right ones? I'm pretty sure you can use any dark & light brown to do this look anyway but everything else is exactly what I used! Idk why I forgot to put down the browns but whatever. LOL The face picture is horrible but like I said, whatever! Haha

FOTD: MAC Coral Espresso

Sooo like I said it my last post I've been using a lot of the same things in my FOTDs because I only brought certain things with me on my trip! But this look is really easy and simple I think it's great for wearing during the day because it uses color but at the same time it's not in your face. I think Paradisco is going to be my favorite summer color! I'm sad because I'm leaving in 2 days! =[ But the good news is... I'm coming back in August! Hawaiian Airlines is having a sale on tickets from HI to the mainland for only $165 one way!!! So if you're planning to make a trip to Hawaii you should definitely check it out! I got my round trip ticket for only $350 with tax! That is CRAZY! I think it's if you fly from Aug 1 - December something but if you're planning to fly around the holidays you need to CHECK NOW! Because I heard prices are already going up. ANYWAY on with my FOTD!

Here's a FOTD of the make up I did when I went to meet up with Tracie for lunch! =] I barely use blues so I thought it was really wearable because I know some people are worried about wearing blues because it's too bright and what not but it's just a sky blue/brown look and I ended up really liking it a lot!

FOTD: Beyonce 'Honey Bee' Inspired

I know everyone went crazy over the Lady Gaga & Beyonce - Telephone music video when it first came out! I wanted to do some looks from the video but I haven't really had time since I've been so busy! But I managed to try out Beyonce's "Honey Bee" look from the diner. Finally got to break out my MAC Chrome Yellow - the one that everyone buys but never uses! lol Here's the original:

My look is toned down a lot more - definitely more wearable during the day. Now that I look at it I should have used a darker brown in my crease but whatever! It's not too much and the yellow kinda pops. Sorry I did this look in like 10 minutes it looks kinda sloppy! lol

It looks hella sloppy but whatever it's been a while since I put up a FOTD! I tried to wing the eyeliner as best as I could but I'm not particularly fond of winged liner. Anyway in other news I went to Sephora today to check out the Tokidoki Collection! OMG the packaging is SOO cute! I wanted everything! But after swatching all the shadows and everything I think the only thing I'm going to end up buying is the Bastardino Palette. The Diamante and Adios palettes have some gritty glittery shadows I really didn't like. I wanted to love Luminosa highlighter but it's wayy too light for my skin and the 'bronzers' were the color of my skin! It just looked like I had a glitter bomb explode on my skin! The lipgloss brushes are weird it's like a little stub of plastic! Smelled yummy but didn't seem worth teh $15. The glitter liner was surprisingly really pigmented but nothing really wowed me. I didn't like the individual shadows either. Loved the packaging though! Anyway I'll try to put up my collection post this weekend!

FOTD: Dark Brown Smokey Eye

I really liked how this FOTD came out! Ugh but I keep forgetting to take pictures of my eyes CLOSED so you can actually see it. If you really wanna see it I'll do it again and take pics lol. My sister curled my hair because for some reason I cannot curl my own hair for the life of me! I'm really happy with this look especially since I used Magnetic Fields E/S from the Neo Sci-Fi collection - I never use this!

Last night the hubby, sister, her bf, & I went to watch Bruno! It had it's parts and it was really funny but it's really graphic! If you're homophobic DO NOT watch it! There were so many guys who had to leave the movie theater cause they couldn't take it! But here's the look I was wearing out. It's more of a natural/smokey look since I don't do very many of those. (You know I love my colors!) My hair is suuuper wavy! I always straighten my hair but this is what it ends up looking like after I shower, brush it once, and let it dry. Hella wavy beach hair!

Sorry I've been MIA this weekend! Me and the hubby went up to Phoenix to visit some of our friends aaand I've been getting ready for vacation! Step-by-step!
1. Prime lids with primer [I used UDPP]
2. Line eyes with pencil liner. [Graphblack Technakohl] Line entire perimeter of eye incl water line, etc. Smudge out liner on eyelid. I made my line thick so it would be smokier
3. Apply bronzey brown eye shadow all over lid.
4. Apply highlighter. BLEND!!! No harsh lines please!
5. Apply eyeliner, mascara, re-do water line and you're done! =]

See how easy? lol

Stash Shopping: MAC Bitter FOTD 4 - Snake Eyes

So here's my FINAL look using MAC's Bitter for my Stash Shopping series! =] Out of all four this one is my favorite! I like it cause it's wearable during the day and its really simple! I even used Chrome Yellow to blend out teh colors and I think it looks reaaaallly good lol. Too badmy camera doesn't catch as much detail as I'd like it to. Normally I stray away from neutral looks because I feel like brown is soo boring unless I have an interview or something professional to go to. I painted my nails Peppermint Patti Green yesterday! It's the LE nail polish from the Sugar Sweet collection! I freaaaking love this color but the only thing that sucks is this nail polish applies super streaky. =[ I had to put 2 thick coats to get it to look even but the plus side to that is that it lasts longer! I've washed the dishes and done a bunch of chores since last night and these babies are holding up pretty well. No chips yet! Usually I get chips as soon as I do the dishes!

Stash Shopping: MAC Bitter FOTD 1 - Jungle Eyes

I've been trying to cut back on my spending especially since I just quit my job and I'm going on vacation! Be proud of me I've only bought one lipstick from the Rose Romance Collection! lol So I'm gonna start doing this "Shopping the Stash Series" where I pick random eyeshadows that I have that don't get much love and make FOTDs with them!! =] My first eyeshadow is MAC's Bitter. I have this in my Manish Arora Palette and it doesn't really get that much love! This look was inspired by xxsgtigressxx's YouTube Video. It's my first cut crease look so it's a little messy! But it came out pretty good if I do say so myself. LOL But I went to a Jungle Themed Party and I thought this was perfect! =]
