Stila Lip Glaze Set Swatches

So maybe about a month and a half ago? I went to Costco and I found these babies in the little beauty aisle they have!





It was only $16 for the set and I've never tried Stila Lip Glazes so I just HAD to get them! I haven't used them for a whole day yet but so far I'm liking them. They all have different scents and it seems like they try to match the scent to the name. They're not super sticky on the lips like MAC Lipglass and out of the 8 I didn't like 2 or 3 of the colors. I'm missing one of the lip glazes because idk where it went! lol

Pinkle Twinkle, Cranberry, Kitten, Starfruit, Blackberry, Plum Fairy, Marmalade

I really liked Cranberry but it was kinda streaky when I applied it =[ and the color sinks into my lips. Blackberry kinda did the same thing but I think these two would look really pretty over the right lipstick! All the ones with fruity names smelled fruity and the others smelled good too. Hope you liked the swatches if you guys want a full review on these let me know. =]

Sephora Haul

Here's my haul from the Sephora sale when they had 15% off everything! I really wish I could have got more but I couldn't decide what I really wanted and I didn't wanna spend that much! So here's what I ended up with:


Tokidoki Bastardino Palette, Sephora All Over Shadow Brush, & Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Onyx

  
You can tell I only spent the minimum to get free shipping! lol I'm really happy with my purchase though. I wanted most of the Tokidoki make up after seeing pictures online but after going in the store to finally decide what I reaally wanted, I only wanted this palette! Some of the shadows weren't as pigmented as I thought they would be and the bronzer and highlighters that I really wanted looked horrible on my skin. But I love this palette! I'll do a review on it with some comparative swatches.


the brush & liner

I really wanted to get the blending brush from Sephora but they were all sold out! And my Sonia Kashuk is getting pretty effed so I thought I'd try the brush out. I wanted the Stila Kajal because when I swatched it in store it was SO pigmented!

Stila Onyx, MAC Graphblack Technakohl, & UD 24/7 Zero

Here's some swatches of the black liners I have for my waterline. I really don't like UD Zero on my waterline! I know people love it but it just doesn't work for me! It comes off after 5 minutes! =[ MAC Graphblack has always been my go-to it stays put and looks BLACK. I'm hoping the Stila liner will replace my MAC just because it's more for your money! But we'll see!

Ahh and I know I totally owe you all posts and I've been really meaning to do my collection post but I need to get a few more things a little more organized and then I'll finally put it up! I'm going into finals soon so it might not be for a couple weeks but I'll try to squeeze it in when I can. =]

Stila on Hautelook

If you're a Hautelook member I'm sure you've noticed that they tend to repeat sales on the same brand which is cool if you're a fan. For example, I looove juicy couture and they've come out with a sale maybe 3 or 4 time since I've become a member over a year ago? I'm just estimating. But I know I've seen Stila on their site a ton of times so I don't really rush to get anything right away but it's nice to know that they will come back with more! This time they have one of the Barbie loves Stila cans and the Precious Pearl Palette for only $24 each! I think the sale is worth checking out but there's nothing that's absolutely OMG! Stila for Bebe

We all know that MAC is constantly doing collaborations with different people but we rarely hear about collabs from other make up companies! I was so confused the other day when I went into my local Bebe store and saw that they had lip gloss?! Bebe has never carried any beauty products before! I went onto their website, and found that Stila has created 4 limited edition palettes for Bebe! Each palette is $30 and these will be available online at bebe.com, stilacosmetics.com, and in select Bebe stores. These palettes weren't in the store when I went so these may be super limited edition. At first I was confused because there's a pink shade that comes in every palette, but all palettes come with three eyeshadows & one convertible color. Their convertible color can be used as a creme blush or lip color! Considering that the full size color is $25, each individual eyeshadow pan is $18, and their normal four-pan palettes are $40, this palette is a steal! I'm actual planning to get one or two myself =] Another thing, these eyeshadows can be used wet or dry, unlike MAC eyeshadows which are not recommended to be used wet.

>> At first glance it doesn't really seem like these colors would go together, but according to the website, they can be worn alone or together for a vibrant look that is "anything but subtle." The Fuschia CC looks gorgeous, I think it would make an amazing blush

>> Just looking at the palette, the colors look like a dupe of MAC's Beautiful Iris & Nocturnelle (two of my fave purples from MAC)


Fashionista "Neutral Palette"

>> I have a sample of Lilium from Sephora and I think it looks really weird on me as a lip color (it's too light for my dark skin) but it's really nice as a cheek color it gives me a really niced flushed look.


Bombshell "Smokey Palette"

I can't decide which one I want because some of them look so similar! I would get the neutral palette but since I already have Lilium and a ton o fbrowns I think I might get the Smokey palette or the Pastel palette. On a side note I thought it was weird that the smokey palette is on bebe.com but not on stilacosmetics.com? Also!
