Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

Better late than never! Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving! I spend the weekend in Hawaii with my family and friends. I thought I took at least one family picture but I didn't! =( I guess I was too caught up being around family I forgot! But here's a pic of the view from the airplane - I never get tired of seeing Hawai'i like this:

It really depends on which side you sit on to get a good view. I recommend sitting on the right side [if you're coming from the mainland] when you're arriving and the left when you're leaving - otherwise you're just looking at ocean! I love going home and I'm really thankful that I can go home for the holidays. Normally, Brian and I don't go home every holiday but since we're apart my mom wanted my sister and I to come out, especially since I'll be going to Guam for Christmas. I LOVE island weather! I don't care for four seasons at all, I hate the cold! I will take humid island breeze all year long, thank you. =P

My trip was really short! And I got sick when I was there. =( I ended up wasting a Saturday night just because my body was so tired from being sick, but I did get some good QT with my mom and dad. Ever since I left home, I appreciate them so much more and they're so funny to be around. I managed to go to the beach once in Lanikai after I had brunch with some friends, call me biased but I have yet to see a beach that even compares to one of Hawai'i's! [Maybe Tahiti judging by pictures but I haven't been there yet!]

I always get my hair and eyebrows done when I go home! I'm always skeptical to have someone else do my hair and I won't let anyone besides my regular eyebrow waxer touch my brows because the ones I've tried out here always make my brows super thin! I prefer a fuller brow and my waxer knows just how I like it. Plus she always trims and shapes my brows [they're suuper long and thick] whereas anyone I've tried out her just waxes it and I never like the way it comes out.

My friend does my hair EVERYtime I go home - I like to trim it often because I have a tendency to get split ends a lot. My head always feels lighter and healthier when I do trim it. I really need to stop dyeing my hair though! It was reddish brown and now it's dark mocha brown! My friend warned me against going back to black because she said if I wanted to change my hair color lighter again t wouldn't look as nice. I think after this dye I MIGHT dye it one more time if it ends up getting lighter from the sun and go super dark, dark brown and just let my natural hair grow out, but we'll see how it goes.

Privacy, X-Ray Scanners, & "Don't Touch My Junk!"

This is totally non-beauty/make-up related but I heard about this today and I saw this video on YouTube and it just got me thinking WTF? If you haven't heard, TSA has these new x-ray scanners out to scan if you have a bomb or some other weapon on you when you go through airport security. I'm all for security when flying and whatnot, but these scanners don't x-ray your bones, it x-rays your body and the screener can see you completely naked! If you don't want to do that, you can opt to do a pat down which is totally unlike a normal pat down where they use the back of their hands - they use the front of their hands! And if you're a guy, you'll basically being groped! I don't even wanna know what they do to the women.

I don't know the exact story, but John Tyner went through airport security and didn't want to go through that x-ray machine and when the security guard explained to John how he was going to "pat him down" John said, "If touch my junk, I'll have you arrested." This sparked a whole other thing and they made a big deal about it threatening him with a fine and everything! If you watch the video it explains it so much better than I do, but I kind of agree with the people who are arguing that it's an invasion of privacy. I don't like the idea that either someone's going to see me naked or I have to be groped. I'm sure it's not THAT bad but thinking about what those anchors said how if anybody else did this to you, it would be considered a felony but because it's the government, it's OK! WTF? I'm sure people have not fought so hard for our right to privacy only to be violated at airport screenings. Yes, after 9/11 security is a HUGE issue and I do want to feel safe, but you think that they would find other ways around this. Idk what do you think?

New Camera & Haul Overload

I got this new camera about a month ago? When Brian was still here and we were going on all our trips and I love this camera! I bought it for around $340? on Amazon and since I got that student Amazon prime stuff, I got it shipped over night for FREE! I could have bought I think the TX-1 or the TX-2 for cheaper but I really wanted this one because it's waterproof! I know lame right, but I thought it would be cool since I'm always traveling and I won't have to worry about getting it wet. I love it because it does panoramic sweep! And I didn't know til I got it, but it films in 1080p! I haven't tested it out yet but I'm not sure if I need to get a new memory card because mine is only 1GB but we'll see. I bought these cute Hello Kitty case on eBay for $8 for a set of 3 and I bought it to use as my camera case but I don't know if it's enough padding.

I really liked that he front was this fake leathery material but the back was plastic-y and there's not a lot of cushion in it. I didn't know that it has TWO compartments instead of one - maybe I'm just not paying attention? But they were only less than $3 each so it's not a complete loss.



I have a TON of updating to do especially because I hauled a crap load from CCO's in Las Vegas & Cali and I have yet to swatch them and take pictures. I think after December 2nd, I'm going to go on a complete make up no buy (unless I get gift cards for Xmas! =P) maybe until the MAC Wonder Woman collection comes out next year but we'll see how that goes. I don't know why I have such a bad habit of buying unnecessary make up! That picture is of a Hello Kitty Halloween pail I got on sale from Target and it's FULL of make up! >___< I am so bad! Maybe I'll do some more updating this weekend!

Where Have I Been?

I've really been itching to put out a good post but I got nothing! I have a couple things I've been wanting to post but I haven't taken pictures of them. I'll get on it one of these days. =P I've been on my no buy for more than a month now!! And I've been doing really good! It's going to end soon though because of MAC's Venomous Villains collection!



Seriously my wishlist is pretty long! =( I doubt I'll get everything but I'm going to be traveling for the next 3 weekends until Brian leaves and I really wanna hit up the CCO! This weekend we're going to San Diego for PIFA [Pacific Islander Festival Association], Vegas next week, & LA the week after! Then he's leaving me again =( I really wish I didn't have to be in school right now because I'd rather be hanging out than studying! But I'm just glad that I get some time with him. I was thinking of getting my whole back tatted up what do you guys think? I know exactly what I want and I've been wanting it for a while and it really means something to me, but I'm so chicken shit! I only have a kanji on the back of my neck which barely hurt me at all but I know this one's gonna be killer! I'm scared I'm going to regret it but I thought the same thing about my kanji and I love it! I only have a week to decide since Brian's getting tatted in Vegas and he asked me if I wanted to do mine too! I'm so nervoussss! lol Ok well I really need to study for a lil I swear I'll get at least one good beauty post up before I leave for the weekend!

Another random post/updates! The new place is coming together I just wanna put up a few more decorations before Brian gets back but seriously with school/work/social life it's just been a blur! I've been good on my no buy! It's been a month! =] I get sad though when I see all these new MU things I want and I can't buy it! =( But I really shouldn't be buying anything because I'm on a tight budget! Which is a good thing because I have so many products I still need to blog about/use so I think after I get what I want from MAC's Venomous Villains, I'm going back on the no buy. MAYBE. lol

I got my nails did today! I haven't got them done in a salon for over 7 months! But I did China Glaze For Audrey on my toes and they had the matching color tips!



I originally wanted a white line, but the guy who did em said I should do silver and my sister said it really looks like Tiffany's LOL! It's nice to pamper yourself once in a while. The other day I washed my brushes and it took me and hour and a half! I washed ALL of them since I'm sure they got dirty from the move but omg I didn't think it would take that long



These are just my MAC brushes! The rest took up my whole counter. OMG I really don't know why I need all these but I <3 them nonetheless. I'm so behind on watching YT videos and reading everyones blog but I'm sure I'll get around to it one day. =]

Wuzz's Love Pack

This is hella late, but I seriously haven't opened the little love pack Tracie aka Wuzz gave me when we had lunch in HI!!!! Mainly because I was TOO busy I only opened it when I unpacked everything from my IMATS haul and I wanted to take pics of it before I even used it! LOL Is that weird of me? But here's the little love pack!

She always gives me soo much stuff when I see her! I wanna give her more but then she always talks about getting rid of a lot of her make up so I feel bad giving her more stuff!!! LOL Don't worry Tracie, one of these days I'll figure out something you'll want to keep! haha

When I opened it I was like OMG! I need all this stuff!! lol She gave me foot scrub and foot lotion and my heels are hella DRY! lmao I think it's because I wear slippers all the time! And I can't afford to get pedicures on the regular so I'm hoping these will help me out. =] ( I haven't used anything yet! ) She gave me a little candy shaped lip gloss, I remember she gave me one like it the last time but my mom totally stole it from me haha!! A Hello Kitty lip balm (so cute!) and chocolate chap stick thingy. I love love love lippies because my lips are ALWAYS dry idk what's wrong with it even if I use scrubs, vaseline, I always need somethin on my lips or it starts peeling. =( So yay for lippies! There's 2 little lip samples too and I think in the little pink pouch is an eyeshadow sample? Omg idk I haven't used any of it yet, I haven't even touched the stuff I hauled from IMATS except to do a video! LOL

But thank's again Tracie! She's always so generous! I can't wait til we meet up again! =]

In other news, I finished my first summer school class today!! Wooot! I took Chem in 5 weeks that shit was CRAZY but I managed to get a B! Hopefully he curves it so I get an A I swear condensed classes are insane but I'm glad I stuck through it. I start another class next Monday =[ Yeah I'm ALWAYS busy with school I always feel like I'm never gonna graduate! But I know I just gotta get through it. Anyway I completely FORGOT about my 2 year Blog-a-versary!! I did this last year too idk I'm just bad at this! But I'll be announcing a giveaway maybe contest? next entry. What do you guys think? I already have a few prizes in mind but I'm not sure yet! But check back tomorrow!!

No Place Like Home

So I've been on vacation for a week now and I've done something like EVERYDAY! I'm beginning to feel burnt out like I just wanna lie around and not do anything. Maybe even at the beach. LOL. But one of the things I did was have lunch with Tracie aka Wuzz! This is the second time we got to hang out and like she said, it really does feel like meeting up with an old friend! We ate lunch at CPK and caught up with each other. Stopped by MAC so she could get her B2Ms and I could check out the "To the Beach" collection. (I'll post my haul in the next post). Checked out Sephora, too. I asked for a sample of the MUFE HD foundation and OMG they are so stingy I swear it was like half a pump in my little sample thing! I was pumping like 5 more in there when the lady comes behind me. lolol!! Tracie was like "did she say anything?" me: no her: oh well then! LOL!!! We even got to check out the Sanrio Cafe! But poor Tracie got jipped! She ordered a Hello Kitty Sundae which was supposed to look like this :

But instead she got NO whip cream OR a hello kitty waffle! WTF! They were lucky she's nice because I know I would have brought it back! LOL. Here's the pic of me and her:


She makes me look HELLA dark! lol! But I love hanging out with her she's just so chill and down to earth! I hope I'll get to see her every time I come out. =]

Gel. Pencil always smudges on me and I never put on liquid eyeliner right. But I use pencil for my waterline

Back in Full Force!

I'm baaaack! Hopefully for good this time! ;] I never realized how much I missed make up blogging until recently! A few things have changed - I'm no longer a blondie! My friend did my hair again when I went back to Hawaii for Thanksgiving so instead of the blonde peek-a-boo highlights, she died my head a dark brown and did red peek-a-boos. I love it! I think I match way better with darker hair and I've always wanted to be a brunette. Maybe next time I'll go lighter brown? Other than that I have just been super busy with school but this semester I'm slowing down a little so I think I'll be able to update once a week! Anyway, I am a total MAC girl through and through - though I do appreciate the other brands out there and I'm always willing to try new things, I always come back to MAC! I really wish I had more friends who shared this 'passion' because I don't know who else better to understand why Painterly is a must have, Shu Uemura is the BEST eyelash curler out there, and the 217 brush is total HG status! This sounds totally lame but there is something about seeing other people's hauls and swatches that gets me so excited about make up! I was so busy last semester I barely had anytime to blog but trust that from time to time I was checking out everyone's blogs! I know I REALLY need to stop hauling considering how much make up I'm collecting! I can't put myself on a no-buy because I know I would never do it! But I'm seriously goin to cut down. You know I'm a complete sucker for packaging so I was totally in love with the Shadesticks!! I wanted to get them all just because of it! My self control is getting better though because I only got Red Velvet shade stick. The others looked really similar to each other - light yellowy goldish colors - and I already have a ton of paint pots so I passed on them. I got Red Velvet because it's insanely pigmented! If I didn't know I would have thought it was an eyeshadow from my swatches! Plus I don't have a base color like it so I def had to have it.

It was kind of funny because when I was checking out the collection - I see the same MUAs at my freestanding store I love them! They're so helpful! - and one of my fave guy MUA was helping me out. Club was missing from the E/S and this is what happened

ME: "OMG! Is this sold out already?!"
MUA: "Oh, no someones using it. Don't worry, it's Club you have that already."
ME: "Oh. Yeah I do. haha!"

It's funny how much he knows about my collection! He's my fave I think he always keeps me updated on the latest collections too and they ALWAYS ask me if I want to hold stuff before it comes out LOL! He thought I had Lollipop Loving but I don't. =[ I missed out on that from Heatherette I only got the E/S palette & beauty powder - don't ask me why lol. But I'm stoked that I get a chance to try it again! I was on Specktra and a bunch of people say the new Lollipop Loving is different from the Heatherette, but I wouldn't know. Some people were bothered by the greenish undertones in it, but I think it's kind of cool! I don't have a lipstick like it! At first I didn't like it on me but with a lip liner it looks wayy better. You can't really tell in my swatch though! lol

I really wanted to like Saint Germaine from this collection! It's such a gorgeous bright pink, but it just doesn't work on my skin tone. I'm too dark for it! The MUA told me that its permanent internationally (in Europe, etc) and they're just bringing it out now. If I had no self control I would totally buy it just because it's pretty! lol

Bubbles was one of the unexpected buys. I was not eyeing this one out at all, but when I checked it out at my counter the day it came out, one of the MUA showed me how it can tone down a really bright lipstick. Swatching it by itself it's not bad either if you don't pile on the color it gives this really pretty shine. But here's the reason I bought it:

Ta-da!! IDK if my pictures do it any justice (sorry I'm taking pictures at night here lol) but Gladiola looks really harsh on me in person! I thought I'd never get any use out of it. But after I put Bubbles over it, it turns into this pretty creamy, shiny pink color that I think I would actually wear out! lol So yay for Bubbles! I am in LOVE with Viva Glam VI SE! I'm kind of sad it's LE its such a pretty color. I LOVE Lustre lipsticks they're my fave finish it just looks so juicy on! lol This is actually my first Viva Glam (I know I'm behind! But whatever) and I'm kind of sad that I don't have more.

Overall, I thought this collection was NOT friendly for women of color (i.e. darker skinned women) which was really sad to me since the promo picture was a WOC. The first time I swatched everything - especially the MSFs - I was like OMG! What the hell! Everything was too light for me - the lipsticks and MSFs! But they actually ended up working. I told my MUA at the freestanding store how sad I was that the MSFs were too light on me, but he said no it's not! He told me how perfect Refined was for me, but I didn't believe him until he put it on me! It's freaaaking gorgeous! If you look at my last FOTD really close (my camera sucks) you can see the faintest glow on my cheeks! I LOOOVE it!! It sucks that MAC jacked up the price of the MSFs, but I think I'll be getting the most use out of this one!

I wouldn't have splurged so much if it wasn't a late bday present to me LOL I really wanted this one, but the one in the store was the LAST one and I couldn't stand thinking about all the people who touched it and tried it on (LOL I know I'm so OCD) so I had them order it and ship it to me! It literally shipped over night because I ordered it on Sunday night, got shipped out Monday and I got it the next day! (It came from Phoenix LOL) But I was sooo happy! I love it cause it's pink inside! haha

1. I cannot swim I'm from Hawaii and I cannot swim. LOL My parents put the fear of God in me because I had a cousin who was around my age who drowned in a swimming pool. They made me go to her funeral & I was like 8!! Ever since I've been afraid of deep water. IDK I just freak out. I really think I can swim but the thought of deep water freaks me the fuck out!

2. I can do a shaka with my toes. LOL I think only Wuzz knows what I'm talking about! I'll show you one day. I'm too lazy to take a picture

3. Dancing was my first love. I was completely passionate about dancing from middle school to high school. I did Hip Hop & Jazz competitively and I did Ballet & Tahitian for fun. At one point it was what I wanted to do with my life, but in reality there's no future in that for me. I really do miss it though =[ There's no words to describe how it feels to perform on stage.

4. The Hubby is my other first love. LOL He's the only guy I've ever been in love with and it's SOOO ironic because I would have never thought of dating him in a million years. He actually practically STALKED me for a few months lol! I was not interested in him at all but he won my heart. =D

5. I am spoiled rotten. Seriously, I am. But I wasn't when I was growing up! All through middle school and high school my mom had me thinking we were dirt poor, so I was really good and bargain shopping, but I found out when I went to college that my mom was actually baaalliiin'! LOL I still am a really good bargain shopper [when I want to be] but since I left for college my mom STILL spoils me! But the hubby keeps me in check. Now I need to check myself with this make up spending! [which I'm trying to!]

6. I love Hello Kitty! I wasn't as obsessed with it as I was before but IDK things have just got really bad since the Hubby got deployed LOL. It started when I put HK all over my car [floor mats, head rests, etc] and it just grew from there. He hates my Hello Kitty obsession. We sometimes get into fights over Hello Kitty - I kid you not.

7. Some military wives disgust me. After I graduated from high school, a lot of people I knew joined the military and got married. I'm not gonna lie I did it too, but in all honesty [and at the risk of sounding cheesy] I couldn't imagine my life without my hubby. We did the long distance thing for a while and I just couldn't take it anymore. But some of these girls that I knew back in the day seem to be gold diggers and it's so disgusting! They brag about "I'm a military wifey" "I love my Airman" all that other BS, but to me the hardcore military wifes don't say shit like that. I really admire long time military wives, ESPECIALLY army wives because those women are strong as hell. To me a lot of these girls nowadays -- they're the type of girls to cheat on their husband when he's deployed and it sickens me.

8. I am in a sorority. Haha I never told you guys these before but I am a sorority girl! I like to keep my personal life separate from my blogger life if you know what I mean ;]

9. I don't believe in diets. There's no such thing as diet in my vocabulary. I can't do it. I gave up rice for lent once, but that was lent. I've never tried to diet to lose weight.

10. Speaking of weight, I need to work out. LOL This is completely random but I've actually been around the same weight since my Junior year in high school - I'm a junior in college now. It's just that my fat turns to muscle and vice versa which is why sometimes I look fat and sometimes I look skinny LOL

11. I love VS Bras! Ever since I started wearing Victoria's Secret, I CANNOT wear anything else! I have small boobies LOL so I need a lot of padding and there's nothing like a VS push up bra!

12. I'm afraid of heights. I feel really weird on the top floor of a building looking down. Especially on a balcony!

13. I'm a gamer. Or I used to be. I used to be all into Halo and all that ish but I haven't had time to play with school and everything. But I do own an Xbox 360, Wii, & Nintendo DS. Of course one of my faves is Guitar Hero! But hands down my all time favorite platform is Super Nintendo! You can't beat Super Marion on that thing that was my game back in the day LOL That and Street Fighter!

14. My favorite color is pink. You don't even know how obsessive I am with this color. My laptop is pink, my DS is pink, my wallet is pink, & my cell phone cover is pink! If you ever open my school back you will be overwhelmed. My pencil case, graphing calculator, notebook, folder, EVERYTHING is pink. haha

15. I miss home food. There is nothing like a plate from one of the Kahuku Shrimp Trucks, Manapua, spicy tuna & ebi fry from genki sushi, kal-bi from soons, plate lunch from L&Ls OMG I could go on forever. I miss home food! Mainland food sucks!!!! No offense!

16. I used to be into web design. I used to be able to work Adobe Photoshop like a pro but now I forgot! I even made my own website before but I just couldn't keep up with it [I ran out of ideas for layouts LOL]

personal updates

IDK if you guys care at all (lol) but I just wanted to blog about non-make up related things. It takes alot of work to post pictures & ish! But it's so much easier to just blooog! Anyway I haven't been blogging much cause the new job has got me working a lot - it's only my first week! It's my first week but I basically know what I'm doing because I use to work at Forever back home. The only difference is the store is huuuuge! But I love dressing up and having an excuse to wear my make up! lol I've got finals coming up too and ugh sooo much happening!

I have a semi-formal thing to go to this Sunday and my hair is driving me crazy! My bangs are NOT CUTE at all. I accidentally cut them too short a couple weeks ago when I was trying to trim it and it grew out a little but it's not where I want them to be. =[ I was thinking about getting a hair cut but I really don't know cause my hair is already short the hubby says I should get highlights but idk?! What do you guys think? I need to decide like NOW cause I'll need to go tomorrow or suuper early on Sunday. I have the hubby's Christmas party to go to next Friday too, so I need to look cute for that!

Ugh I feel so busy lately but I swear I will blog 10X more when finals are over and I'm out on Christmas break!

1. I can only sleep with one pillow. No more, no less. If I have more than one, my neck hurts, and idk who can sleep without a pillow!

2. I burp a lot. It's not as bad as it used to be (I used to burp like a drunk old man) but I still burp more frequently than the average girl. lol

3. I used to be a dancer. I did Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, and Tahitian from 8th grade up til my Junior year in high school. I always wanted to continue doing it but I never found the time. Dancing was like my first love that got away. =[ lol I still loooove Tahitian though that's always been my favorite.

4. I was actually anti-MAC before I became obsessed with make up! I thought it was strictly stage make up (because it's so pigmented and so many girls at school packed it on like no tomorrow!) but look at me now! lol

5. I'm from Hawaii and I can't swim! Idk I just never learned. I got freaked out because I had a cousin who drowned when I was little and ever since I always freak out in deep water. I'm OK in shallow water and I actually think that I can swim but I just end up freaking out!

When I eat bread and butter, I have to put the butter on TOP of the bread. I hate cutting open the bread and spreading it inside! It's so much better on top anyway lol

I have a bag fetish. I bought 2 giant tupperwares from Wal-Mart I think they'r elike 13 gallon tubs? I filled them both up with bags and I still more lying around.

I also have a shoe fetish. I think I own 50+ pairs of heels/shoes/flats/etc. The hubby always scolds me because I always end up wearing slippers! (i.e. flip flops sorry island people call them slippers lol)

I've been mistaken for all of the following: Thai, Vietnamese, Hawaiian, Samoan, Black, Native Indian, Indian, Hispanic, & Cambodian. But I'm full Filipino. LOL

Fried chicken is my absolute favorite food. I could it eat everyday, or every other day. I prefer chicken over beef or pork.

Personal Update & Random Rants

I still can't get over that I didn't know I had comments! LOL I was always bummed when I check my blog and I'm like nobody visited me! =[ Not that I'm a comment whore or anything but it's just nice to see at least one comment on your blog you know? I feel like suuuch a retard! But I've just been overwhelmed with school, I'm taking math for my Summer Session II, Differential Equations at that. I spent like half the day doing homework or sleeping! They've been working me like a racehorse at work making me pull doubles all the time or giving me crappy schedules! I work at a gym, and I don't really work during the week but they run me hard on the weekends! One weekend I closed Friday night at 11, open Saturday morning at 7, open Sunday morning at 7, AND close Sunday night at 9. I was dead tired. The people who work out there were asking me if I live there! How embarasing! But now that I know you guys actually read my blog I am totally inspired! =] I can't do all my updates tonight so I'll just spread it out I'm off tomorrow too AND I got paid today so I'm gonna hit up the MAC store to buy me some palettes. Plus I've been totally checking out the 189 brush that comes with the New View collection. I always view shopping as, if it's there it's meant to be. Especially when it's the last one in your size! Of course, that's coming from me who is a poor college student, yet uncontrollable shopaholic.

I started this blog as a Make Up Blog - I had no idea there were so many people in the online blogger community! =] Plus my husband is deployed and I needed something to kill time with. But, I do have random thoughts on my mind so excuse me while I just rant for a few paragraphs.

Just random things about me you probably don't care to know, I graduated high school in June 2006 and 10 months later I married my first love. I know it sounds cheesy and I've got a lot of criticism for doing it, but so far it's been the best experience of my life. He's deployed now and I miss him a lot, but being apart really makes me realize how much I love him. But it really is true, that you don't know what things are like until you experience it. After high school I heard a lot about old friends or just people I knew who got married and a lot of the reason seemed like because the guy joined the military. People can totally put me in that category, but I honestly thing some people made a big mistake. The people I know have been getting married like teenagers hook up. They think that it's some kind of fairy tale and you live happily ever after, but truth is, it hasn't begun until you actually do get married. It just disgusts me that I go on my MySpace and their totally flaunting "I got married on July 23 2008 at 9:00 PM!" making a total big deal about it. Marriage isn't all rainbows and butterflies. The things that people do. They act like marriage is something to brag about, like it's another trophy on their shelf, it's so disgusting. And the whole "military wife" thing.. I just hate how people flaunt it. Yes, I am a military wife, but I have yet to experience half the things REAL military wives go through. Me running around bragging about it would be an insult to the women who have done it for over 20 years! Especially when half the people who get married this year are gonna be divorced in a couple years. I just don't think being married is something that you "show off." It's an intimate thing. I just know that I don't need to advertise to the whole world that I'm "such a good wife" when really the greatest feeling is knowing that what you feel for this person, that you love them with all your heart and soul, is mutual. It's like your own little secret. ;]
